Say It! works without an account and without an internet connection. Your answers, player names, favorites and Love Check results are stored only locally on your device and are never transmitted to us.
On first launch we ask whether we may collect anonymous usage statistics. Only if you agree, we use Google Firebase Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) and the Meta SDK (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) to measure which features are used, whether a purchase takes place and whether our ads on Google and Meta lead to installs. This transmits technical information such as device type, operating system, language, approximate region, app events (e.g. “onboarding complete”, “purchase”) and, if you additionally allow it on iOS, your device’s advertising identifier. Content such as questions, answers or names is never transmitted. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time in the app settings under “Anonymous usage statistics”.
On iOS the advertising identifier (IDFA) is only used after explicit consent in Apple’s system dialog. Without that consent, install measurement relies solely on the privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork (Apple) and Google Play Install Referrer mechanisms, which do not identify you.
The app shows no ads. No data is sold to advertising networks. Data is shared with Google and Meta only for the purposes described in section 3 and only with your consent.
Love Check reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No push service is used and no data leaves your device for this. You can revoke the permission at any time in the system settings.
Locally stored data remains on your device until you uninstall the app. Statistics data at Google Firebase is deleted automatically after 14 months; data at the Meta SDK is kept according to Meta’s retention periods. Both providers also process data in the USA on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.
On superpartygames.com we only load the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) after you accept it in the cookie notice. It measures page views and clicks on the app store buttons so we can see whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram reach people interested in Say It!. A cookie (_fbp) is set and technical data such as IP address, browser and visited page are transmitted to Meta; Meta may link this data to your Meta account. Without consent no pixel is loaded and no cookie is set. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; your choice is stored locally in your browser and can be reset by clearing the site data. Locally stored content (names, favorites, results) is under your control: delete it in the app or uninstall the app and it is gone for good. For the statistics and ad-measurement data that only go to Google and Meta with your consent: withdraw consent any time in the app under Settings → “Anonymous usage statistics” (switch off); on iOS additionally under Settings → Privacy → Tracking. On the website, withdraw the pixel consent by clearing the site data for superpartygames.com in your browser; the cookie notice will appear again on your next visit. Because we receive this data anonymously and cannot link it to a person, we cannot look up individual records ourselves. Access and deletion are available directly at the providers: at Google via your Google account (myaccount.google.com → Data & privacy, “My Activity” and ad settings), at Meta via your Meta account (Settings → Off-Meta-technology activity: clear history and disconnect future activity). Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We reserve the right to update this privacy policy if legal requirements change. Significant changes will be communicated within the app.
